THE PILOT HOUSE
"My chief was presently hired to go on a big New Orleans boat, and I packed my satchel and went with him. She was a grand affair. - Life on the Mississippi by Mark Twain
Natchez's Hotel Vue is nestled high on the bluff of the majestic Mississippi, bringing to mind the captain's quarters of riverboats where the beauty of the Mississippi River is the most breathtaking. The hotel's restaurant, The Pilot House, pays homage to this view and was inspired by Mark Twain's Life on the Mississippi. The restaurant's appeal, much like that of the riverboat captain's quarters, serves as a meeting place where tales are great & long.
