THE PILOT HOUSE
The Pilot House pays homage to its bluff-top views and was inspired by Mark Twain's Life on the Mississippi. The restaurant's appeal, much like that of the riverboat captain's quarters, serves as a meeting place where tales are great and long (but don't worry...our service isn't slow.)
Hours: Monday-Saturday: Opens at 4:00 p.m.
"My chief was presently hired to go on a big New Orleans boat, and I packed my satchel and went with him. She was a grand affair. When I stood in her pilot house I was so far above the water that I seemed perched on a mountain; and her decks stretched so far away, fore and aft, below me . . . the pilot house was a sumptuous glass temple; room enough to have a dance in..." - Life on the Mississippi by Mark Twain
